The Tennessee community is mourning the tragic loss of James W. Coulson Jr., 19, whose life was cut short in a fatal collision on Highway 111 in the Cagle Mountain area on June 8, 2026.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10 a.m. Investigators reported that Coulson was driving a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Highway 111 when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided assistance, but James succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. His identity was later released after family members had been notified.
